Robert McNamara

Robert McNamara’s idea of fun is surfacing odd and overlooked history from the archives of 19th century newspapers. In his youth he studied history at New York University and spent a few years on the staff of Rolling Stone. He worked as an editor for Amazon in its early years, and for a dozen years wrote and edited a popular history site for About.com.
