Syd Wise

Syd Wise

Syd Wise is an independent historian, with a graduate degree from West Chester University. They focus on digital, religious, and oral histories. Their current project is working with Vietnamese Catholics, conducting oral history interviews and researching in archives. Syd believes in the power of oral history as invaluable primary sources for modern history. Additionally, they are passionate about digital history and the accessibility of history, making their research available to the general public on various sites they have built and to which they have contributed. Syd is currently working in the field of public history, and contributes to educational and research-based programming offered to the public.
