Edward Miller

I’m an ancient historian by trade. I specialise in ancient politics and economics but I love a bit of ancient mythology, the weirder the better! My current interests include comparative studies of ancient and modern economic thought as well as modern and ancient politics.

Education

On the left, there's a detailed portrayal of Lycurgus (Lykourgos, Lycurgue), legislator of Sparta, in deep thought, draped in a red robe and holding a scroll. To the right stands a stoic Spartan warrior, characterized by his detailed armor and distinct helmet with a large plume. Abstract geometric shapes and a representation of Greek architecture form the backdrop.
